The One Where I Talk About Myself... again.

I know, I know.  These things are sorta like those surveys we all used to do on Myspace.  But I also think they are a great way to meet new blog friends!!  Billie Jo, from The Louden Family (go check her out!), has been super sweet and nominated me. SO, I'm doing it again.

Here are the rules:
1. Each person must post 11 things about themselves.
2. Answer the questions that the nominator set for you plus create 11 questions for the people you’ve tagged to answer.
3. Choose 11 people and link them in your post.
 4. Go to their page and tell them.
5. No tag backs!

11 things about me:

1. My hair is falling out.

2. All of our Christmas cards are still hanging on a piece of ribbon in the living room.  Everything else has been put away since before New Years' but for some reason I have no motivation to remove the cards.  And it's driving Jerry crazy.

3. I've decided to give up soda for Lent and I'm pretty sure it will be the hardest thing I've ever done.

4. I am really cheap.  It hurts me to buy something that's not on clearance.

5.  I can't stand to have the little red notification things on my phone.  I have to clear them as soon as they pop up.

6. I play the Frozen soundtrack in the car after Emily has gone to daycare because she won't let me sing the Elsa parts.

7. I'm a control freak.  I can't stand waiting and watching someone do something I can do myself.  I hate waiting in the car while Jerry (or anyone) goes into a store.  I always ask if I can go in instead.

8. I would rather go to a pool than the beach.  I hate sand and I don't trust the ocean.

9. I have never flown first class (and probably never will).

10. I don't subscribe to any magazines.

11. My favorite color is yellow.

11 Questions from Billie Jo:

1. What is your lucky number?  I don't really have one, but for some reason I like the number 3.

2. Favorite book?  Hmm.  Right now I would probably say Outlander (and the whole series).

3. Dogs or Cats?  Both, though right now we have neither.  Our poor old kitty, Kacie, went to live at the old kitty's farm about 5 months ago, and we are waiting until the girls are a little bit older to get a puppy.

4. What are 3 things you think of most everyday?  My family.  Food.  Sleeping.

5. If you were a superhero, what power would you have?  Invisibility might be fun for a while.

6. Favorite drink?  Alcoholic: sangria; Non-alcoholic: Diet Dr. Pepper

7. Favorite holiday and why?  Christmas; especially since having kids.  It's so fun to watch them experience everything that goes along with the holidays.

8. Have you ever milked a cow?  Nope.  Not really on my bucket list either.

9. Quote you live by?  Something that Jerry's grandfather always tells him, "This too shall pass."

10. Favorite teacher in school and why?  I think her last name was Cooper.  I took one of her classes my freshman year of college and hated her.  By my senior year, she was my favorite teacher.  I don't know what exactly about her made her my favorite, but I just remember that I always felt smarter after her class, and her classes were the ones I loved going to because I knew I wouldn't be bored.

11.  Last song you heard on the radio?  It is very rare that I listen to the actual radio.  When I do, it's the classical music station -- I started tuning to the local classical station when Emily was a baby because the music made her go to sleep in the car.  Then I just kept listening... BUT the only thing we've been listening to for the last few weeks is the Frozen soundtrack.  Let it go, let it gooooo!

1. Who was your first (or biggest) celebrity crush as a teenager?
2. If you could go back in time and fix a mistake (or something you regret) would you?
3. Remember your first kiss?  Was it magical, gross, or meh?
4. What is your dream job?
5. What is your biggest accomplishment?
6. Have you ever been on a blind date?  How'd that go?
7. If you could take an all-expenses-paid trip ANYWHERE, where would you go and who would you take with you?

11. Who did you look up to most when you were a kid & why?

And, because I cannot post without an ecard or meme (I physically cannot click publish):

I literally JUST said this at the mall the other day.  I am sick of snow and cold weather, but I just realized that I will not lose 50 lbs in a month.  Crap.

  1. You're right these things are like Myspace surveys. That's probably why I love them so much! Bring back the Myspace survey! :D Also, is the Outlander series pretty good? I'm looking for some good book recommendations.

Thanks again for the nomination! And those are some great questions. :)

    1. I love the Outlander series. My sister got me hooked on it even though I was VERY skeptical when she tried to explain what it was about. But it's too hard to explain. You just have to read it.
